Filippijnen – Emerald Bay komt een stap dichterbij nu de financiering voor de eerste fase is veiliggesteld

The completion of the beach front Emerald Bay, a new integrated resort in Mactan, Cebu, in the Philippines, has moved a step closer following approval for developer PH Resorts Group Holdings to kick on with a Php1.125bn (US$23.2m) follow-on offer of common share which will be used by mother company Udenna Corporation to fund the project’s first phase.
Het is ontworpen door de wereldberoemde Steelman Partners en zal naar verwachting in het tweede kwartaal van 2022 worden geopend, met een zachte lancering tegen het einde van 2021. De eerste fase van Emerald Bay zal beschikken over 122 speeltafels die massa, premium massa en junkets bieden, plus 600 EGM's en 270 hotelkamers.
PH Resorts Group Chairman Dennis Uy said: “This is another milestone on the way to completing Emerald Bay and continuing on our journey to further put the Philippines on the regional and international gaming map. Despite the ongoing COVID‐19 pandemic, we are confident that the Philippine tourism and gaming industry will be on the road to recovery when Emerald Bay opens.”

PH Resorts Group Holdings, Inc. LapuLapu Leisure is de ontwikkelaar van Emerald, een geïntegreerd toeristisch resort gelegen aan een eersteklas strandgebied op Mactan Island, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. Emerald zal worden gevestigd op een terrein van 13.5 hectare op het schiereiland Punta Engaño op het eiland Mactan. De eerste fase van Emerald zal naar verwachting een totale speeloppervlakte van ongeveer 7,585 vierkante meter hebben, met ongeveer 1,186 elektronische speelautomaten, ongeveer 146 speeltafels, een vijfsterrenhotel met ongeveer 838 kamers, waaronder vijf villa's, een winkelcomplex met een oppervlakte van ongeveer 8,000 vierkante meter, een congrescentrum en 18 restaurants.
CGLC is de ontwikkelaar van The Base, een geïntegreerd toeristisch resort in Clark Freeport Zone, Luzon, Filipijnen. DHPC is de eigenaar van het Donatela Hotel, een luxe hotel in boetiekstijl in Tawala, Panglao Island, Bohol. Het Donatela Hotel heeft 12 luxe villa's met zwembaden, gastronomische restaurants en een wijnkelder. Het is gelegen op een terrein van 7.5 hectare, op ongeveer 14 minuten rijden van de internationale luchthaven van Bohol.
